Today I’m officially back in the saddle! It’s been two years since i crashed and badly injured my right shoulder. Last August I finally had it operated and its taken 6 months to heal.
Now I felt ready to jump back on my bike.
Some of my friends took me out on nice and fun enduro tracks. I was a little worried how my shoulder would feel, so kept my calm just riding nice and smooth. But wow did if feel great to be back on the bike!
And no pain, or strain. I am so happy!

According to some religion today was the day of resurrection. And guess what, it’s true. Today my KTM 250 came out from the darkest corner of the garage!
I haven’t ridden a bike since my shoulder-smashing-crash two years ago, so now I’ll just start easy and see how it goes.
I finished 2nd lady in the 4-Day Enduro/Offroad. First days I was riding a little more cautious because of my injured thumb from Dakar. But as I was getting into rythm and felt I could push a little more the pace increased after a couple of days.
On day one already my forks failed and wit the help of Keva Motor in Hässleholm, I hade them serviced the same evening and could race on the next day.
Winner was Camilla Mitkiewitz, a good enduro and motocross girl I could not catch up with – congratulations to good race and good luck on your future quest to the ISDE 6-day enduro.
My best friend Camilla Arnalid was 2nd and 3rd for a long time, but on the last day her motorcycle failed and she lost time and the podium place.
Thanks to super race organisation – they have made this race for 19 years! Some of the entry fee is helping our Swedish enduro junirors to race the ISDE 6-days. This year there were about 200 motorcycles on the start, and I think not too many injuries.
Also thanks to my sponsors, my service/mechanic Henrik, and a little extra to Toyota Center Auto Motor Gruppen for lending me their Hiace van.
It has been a long way back after my multiple injuries in the Dakar 2009. Not only my nose was broken, also my right shoulder took a bad hit and some muscles and ligamnets were torn.
… on the saddle again – Enduro
Last week I was really back in business again. I raced my first enduro, a 4-day event with 6 special tests every day and some 250 kms of liasions in between. First two days I felt a bit uncomfortable with the shoulder, but the last two days I was having fun and increasing speed! Finished 4th in the womens class, only 2-3 minutes behind second place. The winner was too fast…
