End of race in Baja 1000

Sadly little Bug no.1106 is out of race. We had two breakdowns, the clutch and driveshaft. It took a while to fix we didn’t make the check point in time.

Big thanks to Mike Kay for inviting me, and big thanks to the rest of the team and crew for a great experience. Already starting to plan for next year.

Also, I’m so surprised and impressed by the capability of little Bug. It really goes in these rough tracks!

Congratulations to the overall winners!

Thanks to SCORE INTERNATIONAL for a great event. Hope to come back!

Fast i bil.

Here we go Baja 1000 Mexico again!

Now I’m on his team in the Class 11, racing a classic VW Bug!

It will be hot, dusty and tough!

Flashback. Annie raced Baja 1000 back in 2002.

Flashback! Finish Baja 1000 Mexico back in 2002.

After an invitation from Mike Kay in America, I headed over to race the legendary Baja 1000 Offroad race.

Mike Kay and I teamed up with Robert Barnum and some more riders.

We finished 8th in the Pro class.

Good and crazy memories, as I had to ride my night stage without the powerful special night-light. Out in the pitch dark, I was overtaken by Tim Morton (BajaBoundMoto.com), and I could ride in the lights of his bike. Lucky me!

Many, many years ago I painted this official World Superbike Championship poster.

Little did I know I was going to run my own marketing and design company some years later.

Looking back, I realise there is always a first step…

Great result in Lausitz Rallye

Happy for a great result in Lausitz Rallye in Germany 🇩🇪 with team Helins Motorsport!

We finished an unbelievable 34th overall with our historic Opel, out of almost 90 modern rally cars!

And we were awarded the prize for best Historic car. 🏆

After really tough and challenging stages for our historic Opel Ascona 1975 (with historic technical specifications, no power steering, almost no suspension travel, etc) it feels good to reach the podium after a rally where some sections were almost Dakar-style with deep sand ruts and whoops. We suffered two punctures but could finish the stages, lost the extra-lights during one night stage, and the steering took some damage in the rough tracks. But still very good flow and no big mistakes.

Thanks to super service team Lucas and LP who did a great job, we reached the podium!

So happy to be part of
