Felicitaciones Annie, tu historial es muy rico, a partir de conocerlo me hago mas admirador tuyo, aunque esta admiracion nacio en la segunda etapa del Pampas 2005, cuando al verte caida al lado de tu moto no aceptaste mi ofrecimiento de ayuda, estabas trabajando en tu honda xr 400. llegaste a la asistencia y me acerque, me mostraste la mano golpeada por tu propia rueda y se veia muy fea.
Mas tarde me alcanzaste y corri por varias horas detras tuyo, me aproveche incluso de tus paradas a observar instrumrntos, para seguir guiado por ti.
Tambien admire tu estilo para conducir, tecnico y elegante, te perdi en las dunas del Nihuil.Tampoco las dunas eran mi fuerte.
El rally no termino bien para mi ya que abandone en La Serena, cuarta etapa, por problemas de salud.
Pero ya era admirador de la princesa, asi la llamaron la primera vez que la vi en Bariloche.
Despues de eso segui su carrera a traves de diferentes noticias e incluso de su pagina; Rally Princess.
Volvi a verla en Buenos Aires, en la recepcion que KTM ofrecio a sus pilotos antes de la largada del Dakar 2009, aparecio vestida de motociclista y nos deleito con su sonrisa y sus ojos azules, estaba magnifica.En el proximo encuentro no lucia tan bien, ni tan sonriente; una estacion de servicio en La Rioja, atestada de gente, en su gran mayoria del Rally, apenas habia comenzado la penultima etapa de la carrera, yo sabia que ella habia llegado de madrugada al vivaq, Gonzalo, mecanico Uruguayo del meca system me lo habia dicho cuando yo habia preguntado por ella y Eduardo Alan, y ahi estaba, apoyada en su ktm 530, que parecia demasiada maquina para esa pequeña rubia con las marcas en su rostro del tremendo cansancio del Dakar y de haber perdido la punta de la carrera en su categoria, dos etapas antes del final, la ayude con la carga de combustible, no parecia tener fuerzas para hacerlo sola, pero asi y todo un rato despues yo me habia detenido al costado del camino para arreglar la carga sobre mi moto, ella paso y al saludarme pude ver su sonrisa, pese a todo disfrutaba al maximo, estos son algunos de los motivos por los que soy fan de La princesa.
Mucha suerte para el Dakar 2010.
