#Dakar stage 13. A muddy finish

Posted on Updated on

Rosario – Buenos Aires / finish.
SS 174 km (modified to 101 km), in total 393.

The last stage was tough – again – and very dirty because of the weather.

It rained cats and dogs so the roads of sand and clay turned into a slippery muddy soup, very dangerous. Many competitors, especially bikers, slid off the track or turned over or got stuck.
The organisation decided to shorten this stage and stop at CP2 / 101 km by neutralizing the last part.
