Stage 11. Rocky but fun

Posted on Updated on

Hillside on cactus mountainSantiago-San Juan,
Special 220 km
Stage pos 38 (shared), 03:23:36 (+00:38:46). Total 48.

The the track was mostly along an old river bed with much variety – quite rocky, fesh-fesh, water.

I overtook several riders, but then got stuck behind a quad (again!!!) for some 100 km. After passing him I had a free track and could speed up. The bike worked very fine today, like a real Super Rocket.

In the bottom of a canyonI’m very content with my riding, though the numb right hand is useless. If it just had been working well… this had been a really fast ride!
